INCREASE OF ADVANCE TAX PAYMENT LIMIT

From Assessment year 2010-11, the Advance Tax Payment limit to be increased from Rs.5000/- to Rs. 10,000/-. Now & onwards no advance tax payment is mandatory for those whose Income Tax Liability is more than Rs. 5,000/- but less than Rs.10,000/-
